Adventure into the Hive

Made for the another roguelike jam.

Story

Giant insects built their hive in the caves beneath the kingdom and are terrorising the villages. You are the only hero breve enough to quest into the hive. Once thier queen is killed, the rest of the hive will disperse.

Theme: Hive Mind

The insects have a hive mind that learns from your attacks, so you need to be unpredictable. Sword Insects have a readiness (indicated by "!" above their heads) that lowers if you give an unexpected attacks.

Optional Theme: Synergies

In some of the rooms you get to choose one of two power-ups that can synergiese off of eachother and your play style. You only have 3 slots for power-ups. You can replace power-ups you already have.
